Mr. Rosen, 87, of South River, died March 1 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement, he taught industrial arts at South River High School for 50 years. Surviving are his wife, Martha Kirschner Rosen; a son, David of Bridgewater; and a grandson. Services were held at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Donald C. Cota Sr.
Mr. Cota, 79, of Old Bridge, died March 14 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1986, he was the owner of G&C Roofing Co., Old Bridge, for 30 years. He was predeceased by a grandson, Jared Lee. Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie Bianchi Cota; three sons, Donald C. Cota Jr. of Freehold, Michael Cota of New Hampshire and Kenneth Cota of the Marlton section of Evesham; two sisters, Ruth DiGaudio of Carteret and Dorothy Hovey of Green Land, N.H.; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at Abundant Life Church of God, Freehold. Cremation was private.
Barbara M. Davis Seaman
Mrs. Seaman, 85, of Sayreville, died March 11 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1976, she worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at South Amboy Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Seaman, and by a granddaughter, Natasha Seaman. Surviving are six children, Nancy Penland, Frank Seaman and Barbara Teleposky, all of the Parlin section of Sayreville, Judy Conley of South Dakota, Joseph Seaman of Florida and James Seaman of Monroe; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen E. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children, 251 Jernee Mill Road, Sayreville, NJ 08872.
Jerry A. Abes
Mr. Abes, 73, of South River, died March 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement, he was a cable technician with Okonite Cable, North Brunswick, where he worked for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Rakita Abes; two daughters, Donna Campoli of North Brunswick and Marie Shalayda of Old Bridge; a sister, Judy Glass of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Services were held at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
