EWA to hold open house, photography contest

The nonprofit Edison Wetlands Association will hold an open house Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Triple C Ranch, 206 Tyler Road, Edison. The Triple C Ranch is the last remaining farm in the Edison area, located in the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area. The event offers children and family activities including pony rides, petting zoo, pumpkin painting and eco-tours of the 660-acre Dismal Swamp Conservation Area.
