Edison Wetlands to host eco-tour Oct. 4

The Edison Wetlands Association has scheduled a public eco-tour and wildlife photography walk at the EWA's Triple C Ranch in the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area, Edison, 8:30-10 a.m. Oct. 4. The event is free and will begin at 206 Tyler Road in Edison.

Attendees will be able to take the winning shot for EWA's first Dismal Swamp Wildlife Photography contest, which organizers plan to make an annual event. Entries can be accepted through Oct. 8.

The EWA has scheduled its seventh annual Fall Fest celebration for Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Triple C Ranch. The organization will launch its yearlong "Wild- NewJersey.tv" interactive wildlife series with a presentation and wildlife touchtank by Jenkinson's Aquarium. This free event also offers fun-filled activities for families and children of all ages, including a farmanimal petting zoo, pumpkin painting and carving, and eco-tours of the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area. EWA will also announce the winners of the photography contest.
