      Choi had zero sympathy for Jewish community
            Rabbi Dr. Rivkin finds it necessary to take offense at the Sentinel's editorial of Oct. 21, and tells an oh-so-sensitive tale of how concerned Mayor Jun Choi is for the needs of the Orthodox Jewish community. I would rather praise the Sentinel for taking the mayor to task.

      Actions of some don't represent the majority
            The killings at Fort Hood have made me fearful. I fear for Muslims across the country who may suffer a backlash of intolerance as a result of the murders. I am appalled as anyone by the massacre, and grieve for the dead and wounded. I can't imagine how terrible this must be for the victims' families, the sense of loss they must be suffering.

      American flag must be flown to support service members
            Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, a day we should all acknowledge by flying the most beautiful flag of all — the American flag. Think about this. Have you ever had to struggle with adjusting a prosthesis? Have you seen someone struggle to adjust their life with a prosthesis? Every day there is another "situation" when you do not have all the limbs that you were born with.

      Health department needs better plan for next year's flu-shot clinics
            My visit to the Oct. 16 Middlesex County Health Department flu-shot clinic, which was scheduled from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Old Bridge Senior Center, did not turn out as it should have. By the time I arrived at 9:55 a.m., I was told there were no more shots available and we should plan on going to the A&P the following Friday for our shots. The Oct.
