Metuchen girls soccer team wins first-round playoff game

      The Metuchen High School girls soccer team began its quest for a sectional title with a 5-0 win over Manville High School last week. With the victory, Metuchen improved to 11-4-1 and advanced to the Central Jersey Group I semifinals against No. 3 David Brearley High School, which was played yesterday.
